| Okay, I've put off Xanga for a while. Its not like we're married....so its okay right? Its not like I've had anything to talk about though, I just think I'm getting too lazy. So what's my life consist of these days? :School, work, announcing baseball games and getting ready for football spring practice.
I work with blueberry plants at work, so I was thinking.....do I need to stop and smell the blueberry plants once in a while [instead of roses]?
Song of the Day: Be Yourself - Audioslave and since its Sunday: Restored - Jeremy Camp
| Okay Fellas,
I know, definitely been slacking, but hey its spring break right?
How your's been so far?
Nope, didn't get to go flying. It got canceled at the last minute b/c the pilot who I was flying with had a meeting in Atlanta.
So.....instead I've worked about 8 hours a day since Saturday. I moved a whole foundation of a house by myself. Not kidding. It is a bit of a play on words though. The foundation stones were in a huge enoromous moose like pile sitting there with weeds, and vines, and dirt all over them. So being the ever-zealous manly man I am, I agreed to move this pile for the people I work for. 1000 stones (100-200lbs. each) later, I'm having quite a difficult time typing b/c I can't feel my forearms. I say that not to boast, but to say that I've been thinking about you.....yeah, the you that's reading my page. So tell me, how's the beach been?
I can probably tell you every song 96.5 The Mountain plays at which part of the day after listening for every hour the past two days that I've been working. So ask, what song do you want to know?
Song of the Day: Dave Matthews Band's - American Baby (quite catchy if I must say so myself)
I think I'll go now and wrap myself in one big ice pack. Later.
| I'm typing slowly because I know you cannot read very fast.
I got my batter's box music:
Burning in the Sun - by Blue Merle
Wow, I just discovered Blue Merle today!!! There so awesome, or at least the song is. Check it out.
So yeah, I guess my official title is Ringgold High School Baseball Team DJ. Pretty cool job if you ask me. I mean, I can play any kinda music (from like the hundreds of selections) and tons of cool sound effects during the game.
Currently, I'm feeling a wee bit weak, feeble, and sore after my job as the Vice-President of Operations at Burn's Blueberry Farm. If you want to know the real story....fine. The President, Mr. Mike Burns told me, his only employee to pick all the weeds (which consisted of mainly Bermuda Grass) around the plants. So that requires much squatting and bending over while getting a tan and listening to 96.5 the Mountain on the radio. That's how I ran across this awesome song. Bermuda Grass can die though! My hands are hurting so bad.
Hope your day was positive, productive, and you got something out of it.
Until tomorrow....oh, Baseball game @ 5pm at least.

| So I said I better step into the batter's box, right? If you've every been to a major league game, you know they play the batter's trademark music as he steps to the plate.
So I was thinking...what's my music? Clocks by Coldplay?....doubt it Scar Tissue by Red Hot Chili Peppers....no(as I shake my head) Maybe a little Dave Matthews?....no
I'll stick to John Mayer or Will Smith or maybe U2 Maybe a little "Getting Jiggy With it" or "Welcome to Miami" What do you think?
Anyways, I've been practicing my...."Now up to bat, number __, Joe Someboy". I'm probably the best annoucer to have never announced a game.
I think I need to move to France. I'm a prime time fashion trend setter. Not a very bold one though. My brother made fun of my shoes as I went out the door this morning. Exact words: "Andrew, you look good from the ankles up...change the shoes man." -Come on, what's wrong with wearing my grandpa shoes with my fraid shorts and a nice polo???
I can picture two French guys named Francois and Pierre who set all the trends in Europe, which of course come over to America after, say 6 months. What kind of conversations do they have?
Francois: Pierre, I don't think your camo wife beater goes with those capris. Pierre: What are you talking about Francois? Your suede pink shirt doesn't really match your adidas running shorts.
So they go to McDonald's in Paris and eat some fries.
Until tomorrow...

| Ladies and Gentlemen,
The start of a Xanga Empire!!!
No really.
So yeah, life goes. A bit dreary with the rain, but hey, I have no reason to complain. Life, its a funny thing it is. So open-ended, yet so closed minded sometimes. What to do? That's what we decide. I'm not poetic, dreamy, or bubbly. Hopefully I'm not too blunt. Should be fun. So here goes my first entry to my peoples (if I have any?)
Ah, today was full of life indeed. It may take a minute or two to convince yourself it was, but look past the superficial stuff like the rain. The Graduation Tests are in the rear-view mirror and straight ahead is announcing! Specifically for the Ringgold High Baseball team. Flying, co-piloting actually. Thats this weekend on a short hop to Pensacola. In my 17.5 years of living, there's nothing like looking down on the majestic earth from a plane, very intriguing indeed. Oh, and work. Slave labor that pays well if that makes sense. I'm the Vice-President of Operations at Burns Blueberry Farm. Title sounds good, but I'm really the only employee. I enjoy working outside though. Nice tan + Nice workout = Nice day.
I better step into the batter's box. Have fun
